From trio to the dynamic seven-piece complete with a horn section, Souzi D. Wilson’s heartfelt and soulful artistry, complemented by the infectious groove of the Cool Mints, promises to captivate, entertain, and leave you completely fulfilled with their musical prowess, whatever the occasion.
Heading the band is songstress Souzi D. Wilson “When it comes to jazz the sweet warm style of Ella Fitgerald is what inspires me, and I truly enjoy the intimacy of a tender ballad, but sometimes I love nothing more than to fire up the pipes belt out some Aretha and James Brown! Ultimately, what really makes me happy is connecting with my audience, that is what it’s all about. The exchange that happens between the band, the music and the crowd where the magic of that mix makes something special happen, a transformation occurs where nothing else matters and you are totally in that moment, it’s bliss!”
